You do not need to be a member, register, or bring anything but yourself. If you can only give one morning or one evening a month, that is exactly the size of these.
4th Tuesday · 9:30 am · Fellowship HallDuo Day Quilting
Two people to a quilt, all morning, on the fourth Tuesday of every month starting at 9:30. The quilts go to Lutheran World Relief and to neighbors here in Cedar Rapids who need one this winter. Nobody arrives knowing how to quilt - you get taught at the table, and the coffee is already on.

Last Thursday · 4:30 - 6:30 pm · FreeNeighbors' Table Community Meal
A free hot meal, served at a real table with real plates, on the last Thursday of every month. Doors open at 4:30 and the last plate goes out at 6:30 - come whenever the evening lets you. No sign-up, no questions, no cost.
Come hungry or come to keep someone company. Most months it is about half and half.
